Editor’s Note

This season, we’re slowing down enough to listen to our bodies, our emotions, our faith, and the quiet wisdom that often gets drowned out by life’s noise.
Our cover story introduces Aziza Hendricks, Reiki Practitioner, whose journey invites us to explore the gentle relationship between energy, healing and self-awareness. Her story beautifully echoes the heart of this issue: sometimes, healing begins when we finally become still enough to hear what our body has been trying to tell us.
From the changing seasons of the menstrual cycle to sensuality, fascia, faith, fashion and the simple power of our five senses, this issue is an invitation to come home to yourself.
Because perhaps femininity was never about doing more, holding everything together or pretending we’re fine. Perhaps it’s about knowing when to bloom, when to rest, when to release and trusting that every season has something to teach us.
So, pour yourself something lovely, take a breath, and turn the page.
Welcome to this season of her.
With love,
Yesmien KT

Spring
The Quiet Power of Renewal
by Amiena Ally
Spring has a way of reminding us that growth doesn’t happen overnight. After months of cold, bare branches and quiet waiting, nature begins to bloom again, not because it rushed the process, but because it is ready.
Just as the earth awakens with fresh life…

As people, we often put ourselves under pressure to have everything figured out. We compare our journeys to others, feel frustrated when progress seems slow, and sometimes believe we’re standing still. But just like nature, we all have our own season for growth.
Renewal doesn’t always come through dramatic life changes. More often, it begins with small, intentional choices. Choosing to rest when your body needs it. Taking a few quiet moments to breathe. Letting go of thoughts or habits that no longer serve you. Making space for healing, both physically and emotionally.
At Wellness Loft, I have the privilege of walking alongside my clients as they reconnect with themselves through holistic therapies such as Access Bars, Acudetox and Cosmetic Acupuncture. While every person’s journey is unique, many come seeking the same thing, a sense of balance, calm and renewed energy. These gentle, natural therapies are designed to support the body’s own healing processes, helping people feel more grounded, relaxed and better equipped to navigate life’s daily demands.
One of the greatest lessons Spring teaches us is patience. Flowers don’t bloom because they’re competing with the ones beside them. They bloom when the conditions are right. The same is true for us. There is no timeline for healing, personal growth or becoming the person you’re meant to be.
Sometimes renewal means slowing down instead of pushing harder. It means listening to your body instead of ignoring it. Every healthy meal, every walk in the sunshine, every glass of water, and every moment of self-care is a step toward becoming your healthiest, happiest self. It means choosing self-care without guilt and understanding that looking after your well-being isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.

This spring, choose to grow. Choose to thrive. Choose to become the best version of yourself!
A Short Meditation: Take a moment to become still. Notice your breathing. As you inhale, imagine drawing in fresh hope, peace, and new possibilities. As you exhale, release any heaviness, disappointment, fear, or worry that you have been carrying.
Reflect on the changes happening in nature. Seeds that were hidden beneath the soil begin to grow. Though unseen for a time, life was quietly at work. In the same way, there may be areas of your life where growth has been taking place beneath the surface. Trust that new beginnings often emerge after seasons of waiting.

Ask yourself:
- What part of my life is ready for new growth?
- What am I being invited to release?
- What gifts, dreams, or opportunities are beginning to blossom within me?
Growth doesn’t always make a lot of noise. Sometimes it happens quietly, beneath the surface, long before anyone else can see it. Every positive choice, every moment of self-compassion and every step towards wellness is a seed being planted for your future.
So, as the world around you begins to bloom, remember that you don’t need to compare your journey to anyone else’s. Trust your own timing. Celebrate your progress, however small it may seem.
May this spring inspire you to bloom with confidence, embrace new possibilities, and cultivate habits that bring lasting wellness. As nature renews itself, may you also discover renewed hope, fresh energy, and a deeper sense of purpose.
After all, the most beautiful blooms are often the ones that took the longest to grow.
Azza Fahmy’s
Soraya
A Celestial Journey
through Memory & Craft

Some symbols transcend time, carrying stories from one generation to the next. In Soraya, the latest collection from Azza Fahmy Jewellery, the crescent moon and stars become a poetic language through which heritage, memory and contemporary craftsmanship meet.

Inspired by the enduring presence of celestial motifs across the Ottoman world, Soraya explores how familiar symbols can be continually reimagined. At its heart is one of Azza Fahmy’s most recognisable signatures: the chain. Transformed into fluid, mesh-like surfaces reminiscent of softly draped textile, chainwork becomes more than an adornment; it creates movement, structure and a sense of effortless fluidity.
The collection unfolds through necklaces, earrings, chokers, bracelets and rings, each offering a distinct interpretation of the crescent and star. The Celestial Scarf Necklace, for instance, transforms the house’s intricate chain technique into a versatile, scarf-like silhouette, inscribed with the lyrics of a beloved Warda song: “My days become sweeter with you.” Taking approximately 82 hours to create, the piece reflects the painstaking artistry behind Soraya.
Elsewhere, Ottoman-inspired motifs meet Victorian influences and traditional Egyptian adornment. The Celestial Beaded Choker reimagines the classic pearl choker, while the Celestial Kirdan Necklace draws inspiration from Fallahy jewellery worn in rural Egypt. Across the collection, precious stones, diamonds, stars and crescents create an interplay of light, movement and symbolism.
The story unfolds against the evocative backdrop of Alexandria. With its faded grandeur, nostalgia and layers of cultural exchange, the city becomes a character in the Soraya narrative, mirroring a collection where history and modernity exist in quiet conversation.

With Soraya, Azza Fahmy invites us to look to the night sky through a new lens: carrying ancient symbols forward as contemporary treasures, while honouring the stories and craftsmanship that came before.
Spring Clean Your Standards
Maybe you’re not asking for too much?
By Saddica Berriche
Spring has a funny way of making us want to clean everything. The cupboards get emptied, the winter clothes get packed away, and suddenly we are convinced that buying three matching storage baskets will somehow transform our lives.

But maybe there is something else that we need to spring-clean: the things we have convinced ourselves we should accept.
As Muslim women, we are often taught to be accommodating. Be patient. Be understanding. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Don’t be difficult. Don’t expect too much.
All beautiful qualities, until they become an excuse to abandon ourselves.
Sometimes settling doesn’t look like accepting something obviously terrible. Sometimes it looks much quieter. Staying in a friendship where you constantly feel small. Saying yes because you’re afraid someone will think you’re selfish. Remaining in a relationship because everyone says, “But he’s a good guy.” Staying in a job that drains you because you should be grateful. Or lowering your standards because you’re tired of waiting.
And then comes the dreaded question: “But what if nothing better comes along?”
Perhaps we have been asking the wrong question.
Instead of asking whether we are asking for too much, perhaps we should ask whether we are asking for the right things.
Islam doesn’t teach us that being a good woman means having no boundaries. Kindness does not require self-abandonment. Patience does not mean tolerating disrespect. And trusting Allah’s plan does not mean ignoring every red flag and calling it taqdeer.

There is a difference between having unrealistic expectations and having healthy standards.

You don’t need a perfect husband. You need one whose character makes you feel safe. You don’t need perfect friendships. You need relationships where there is mutual respect, honesty and room to be yourself. You don’t need a perfect career. You need work that doesn’t slowly extinguish the person you are becoming.
And perhaps most importantly, you don’t need everyone’s approval before making a decision that protects your peace.
Sometimes we hold onto things because we are afraid of disappointing people. But disappointment is not always a sign that you’ve done something wrong. Sometimes it is simply the price of finally choosing yourself.
So this spring, clean out the emotional cupboard.
Throw away the guilt that says “good women don’t say no.”
Throw away the fear that says “this is probably as good as it gets.”
Throw away the belief that being chosen by someone else determines your worth.
Keep your softness. Keep your compassion.
Just don’t forget to keep your standards too.
Because maybe the most vibrant version of you is the woman who finally becomes brave enough to stop accepting everything she doesn’t deserve.

Womb Knowing
Inner Spring
By Tasneem Ahmed Basha
Ignore the advertising for allergy meds & go skip in a field! You deserve it; you’ve made it through the bleeding, the cramps and, if you’ve done it optimally, getting in touch with your deep intuition.

Follicular phase (day 7-14 of our cycle) is where our bodies start producing more estrogen, which goes a long way in improving mood and energy levels. Your skin starts behaving, and that cloud of gloom has finally dissipated…all is well with the world again *cue butterflies and sparkles.
There is no ‘but’ if that’s what you were waiting for; you are meant to feel this great to set you up to feel even better in the next phase.
If this sounds too good to be true, it’s probably because words like ‘erratic’ and ‘moody’ are often used to describe the feminine cyclical nature. It’s time to change that; it’s perfectly healthy and absolutely necessary to experience the full spectrum of emotions that the menstrual cycle brings while also considering that estrogen & testosterone levels drop by 50-85% in 72 hours in the week just before our bleed. In comparison, a man would have to age 125 years to experience that hormonal shift. We go through the MOST, girl! So, enjoy the good vibes.
This is the perfect time to have a look at what we’ve learnt about ease & joy:
- How comfortable are you with things being easy & joyful in your life?
- Is it safe for you to experience good things/feeling good emotionally & physically?
- Do you have a belief that growth & progress only happen under duress?

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the follicular phase is related to spring and the element of wood. This is the waxing moon, the organs of liver & gallbladder or “the seat of Qi/life energy”. Creativity, clarity and motivation increase; lean in. This is where our hopes and aspirations and our life’s wish for itself ring clear; everything and anything feels possible in this space, and that is exactly as it should be. Wood speaks to us about growth, about new life; this is typically the time of the month when we feel most drawn to setting goals and planning things.
Here is where we make grand plans and sadly, also where we expect to keep the same energy forever. Nope. Manage your expectations; whilst it’s excellent to have those plans now, to dream big, you are not meant to stay here forever. By all means, put those plans into motion, get started where you can and also get comfortable with the fact that even if not everything comes into fruition now, the season for it must roll around again.
From day 7 onwards of our cycle, we can feel more sociable compared to the week of our period. We have more physical energy, so it’s a great time to focus on fitness/movement and, blessing of blessings, this week is where we seem to tick off that to-do list like a productivity pro! If you’re fairly attached to your calendar, use this week to slot in meetings, organizing your space, meal prep and brunch dates. You are the moment. Soak it up.
What does support look like in this season/phase? Good nourishing foods; vitamins A, B and C are all important now. The taste associated with spring is sour, so increase fermented foods. Leafy greens and sprouts are also on the menu, as well as nuts & seeds, eggs, fish and chicken. Yep, it’s time to protein-maxx and help the liver rebuild healthy blood.

Start your mornings off with even 2 minutes of movement, include breath-work in your day and add in a brain-dump at the end for all the brilliant ideas visiting you now. Testosterone is increasing; this means a movement out of yin (feminine) and into yang (masculine). While some aggression might help you get things done, it’d be wise not to let anger get the better of you here; the next phase of ovulation can do so much more with that potent energy.

Tap into your creativity however it presents for you. This is a wonderful time where both play and planning dance together in a beautiful choreography. There are no silly ideas here; everything is glowing potential. Newness is meant to abound; you are supposed to feel excited about things because you’re being prepared to birth new life into all dimensions of yours.
The invitation of this threshold is upwards, outwards, towards warmth and movement; exactly like a tree. Immerse yourself in the pops & fizzles of possibility. Whatever you sow now bears life. Whatever energy was stored faithfully during winter/menstruation is making itself known now in the most exhilarating ways.
Dive deeper into this topic along with a circle of women in the upcoming Seasons Of Her; Spring workshop happening on the 19th September. Contact 064 865 1925 for bookings.

Moving With Intention
By Jihaan Abrahams-Van Der Schyff
Movement is one of the simplest ways we can care for ourselves, yet in the busyness of everyday life, it is often one of the first things we neglect.
Our bodies carry us through our work, our relationships, our responsibilities, our joys and our challenges. Looking after them doesn’t have to mean chasing fitness goals, spending hours in a gym or pushing ourselves to exhaustion. Sometimes, wellness begins with choosing to move a little more.
Whether you’re starting a new routine, returning to movement after a long break, or simply looking for gentler ways to stay active, the most important place to begin is where you are.

Move for how you want to feel
Exercise isn’t only about appearance. Regular movement can help us maintain strength, mobility, balance, energy, and independence while supporting our overall well-being.
There are many ways to incorporate movement into your day:
- Strength exercises can help support muscles and bones.
- Balance exercises can improve stability and confidence.
- Mobility work keeps the body moving freely and comfortably.
- Stretching can support flexibility and ease stiffness.
- Walking is a simple way to keep the body active while supporting cardiovascular health and energy.
You don’t have to do everything at once. A walk around the neighbourhood, a few stretches in the morning, taking the stairs instead of the lift or adding a short strength session to your week can all be meaningful steps towards a more active lifestyle.
Consistency over intensity
There is often pressure to believe that exercise only counts if it leaves us exhausted. But sustainable wellness is rarely about doing the most. It’s about doing what you can, consistently.
Listen to your body. Start gently. Increase your activity gradually and choose forms of movement that you actually enjoy. When movement becomes something we look forward to rather than something we punish ourselves with, it becomes much easier to make it part of our lives.
And remember: strength looks different for everyone.
It can mean feeling steady as you get out of a chair, carrying your shopping bags, climbing a flight of stairs, playing with your children or grandchildren, walking comfortably on holiday or simply having the confidence to move through your day with greater ease.

Caring for the body
Within Islam, the body is regarded as an amānah, something entrusted to us. But caring for our bodies can also be understood more simply: we deserve to live in bodies that are supported, nourished and cared for.
The Prophet ﷺ reminded us that “The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, while there is good in both.” (Sahih Muslim)
Strength doesn’t have to be measured by how much we can lift or how fast we can run. It can be found in resilience, capability and the ability to continue participating in the moments that make life meaningful.
So, wherever you are in your wellness journey, begin there.
Take the walk. Stretch your body. Build your strength. Rest when you need to. And permit yourself to progress at your own pace.
Start gently. Move consistently. Care for the body that carries you through life.
May we all find greater balance, strength and wellbeing, in body, mind and soul.

Aziza Hendricks on Faith, Healing & the Quiet Work of Renewal
By Yesmien KT
There are some women you come across and immediately feel curious about their story.

I discovered Aziza Hendricks while scrolling through TikTok. Her conversations around healing, women, spirituality and emotional wellbeing made me pause. But what particularly caught my attention was discovering that she was a Muslim Reiki practitioner.
Energy healing has always intrigued me, yet it has also left me with questions and a degree of scepticism. So, rather than simply scrolling past, I wanted to understand the woman behind the practice.

How does a Muslim woman reconcile Reiki with her faith? What brought her to this path? And what does healing mean when you have experienced profound loss yourself?
That curiosity led to this conversation and ultimately to Aziza becoming our Spring Cover Woman.

When Grief Changes You
Aziza’s journey into healing began with loss.
In 2020, she lost her mother, an experience she describes as one of the most traumatic of her life. Yet grief did not give her the luxury of simply stopping. She was still a wife, mother, grandmother and daughter supporting a father who was grieving too.
Through that experience, she began to understand that grief reaches far beyond the mind.
“I realised that grief affects the mind, body, and soul.”

Her own healing journey, holistic wellness and a deeper connection with Allah (SWT) eventually led her towards a new sense of purpose: creating a safe, compassionate space for women carrying pain, loss and emotional burdens.
Faith as the Foundation
For many Muslims, the words Reiki and Islam may naturally raise questions. Aziza is conscious of this and approaches the conversation with humility.

Her faith, she explains, has always been her foundation. She believes Allah (SWT) is the source of all healing and sees herself only as a means or vessel.
“I view myself only as a means and a vessel, never the source of healing.”

The Women Who Are Carrying Too Much
One of the biggest struggles Aziza sees among women is emotional exhaustion and burnout.
Women are constantly pouring into everyone else- children, partners, families, careers and communities, while quietly placing themselves at the bottom of the list.
Through journaling, breathwork, reflection and holistic wellness practices, Aziza encourages women to reconnect with themselves and create space to acknowledge what they are carrying.
She intends to help women move from merely surviving towards living with greater peace, purpose and resilience.
Sometimes, healing begins simply by admitting that we are tired.
Spring, Renewal & Returning
Spring is traditionally associated with blooming, fresh beginnings and new growth. But Aziza offers a gentler interpretation of renewal.
“Renewal is not about becoming someone new. It is about returning to who I was created to be beneath layers of grief, fear, and survival.”
There is something beautiful in that idea.
.

Perhaps we do not always need reinvention. Perhaps sometimes we simply need to return, to our faith, our values, our bodies and the parts of ourselves that became buried beneath responsibility, fear, grief and survival.
For Aziza, renewal means slowing down, embracing gratitude, processing emotions honestly and strengthening her connection with Allah (SWT).
It is about becoming present enough to recognise the woman who is already there.
The Quiet Work of Staying Grounded
Aziza’s own grounding practices are beautifully simple: prayer, gratitude, journaling, reflection, time in nature and mindful self-care.
At the centre of them all is her relationship with Allah.
“True tranquillity comes from remembering Allah and maintaining a sincere connection with Him.”
For Aziza, tranquillity does not mean having a life without difficulty. It means remembering Allah through the difficulty.

“You do not have to bloom in every season; sometimes growth happens quietly beneath the surface.”

Not every season is meant for visible growth. Some seasons are for resting. Some are for grieving. Some are for learning. Some are simply for surviving. And some, eventually, are for blooming.

A Legacy of Hope
Looking towards the future, Aziza hopes her legacy is that women remember they were never broken.
Through her work, The Shaanti Journal and the conversations she creates around healing, faith and women’s wellbeing, she hopes to help women feel seen, heard and reconnected to themselves and their Creator.
“My goal is to help them feel seen, heard, and reconnected to themselves and their Creator.”
Perhaps this is what makes Aziza such a fitting Cover Woman for our Spring Issue.
Our conversation began with my curiosity about Reiki, but I left with a much broader reflection on healing itself.
Because ultimately, Aziza’s story is not only about a healing practice. It is about a woman who experienced profound loss, allowed it to reshape her understanding of healing, and chose to create space for other women.
It is about faith as an anchor, rest without guilt and allowing ourselves to be human.
And perhaps, sometimes, the most meaningful transformation is not becoming someone new at all.
It is quietly finding your way back to who you were always meant to be.

Your Inner Spring
She’s Back!
By Yesmien KT
You know that moment when your period ends, and suddenly you’re like…
“Wait… I actually want to leave the house?” You’re answering WhatsApps. Making plans. Getting dressed with enthusiasm. Having ideas. Maybe even cleaning the house voluntarily. Ladies… Spring has entered the chat.

In your menstrual cycle, the phase after your period is your Inner Spring, the follicular phase. As oestrogen begins to rise, you may notice more energy, curiosity, confidence and a desire to connect with the world again. After your Inner Winter, where hiding under a blanket and cancelling plans felt like perfectly reasonable life choices, spring brings a gentle nudge outward. And what better way to experience this awakening than through your five senses?
SEE: “Oh, Everything Is Pretty Again!”
Suddenly you notice colour. Flowers. Sunshine. Your wardrobe. You might even look in the mirror and think, “Actually… she’s kind of cute.” Spring invites you to see beauty, not only around you, but in yourself. Instead of immediately spotting what needs fixing, notice what you genuinely love. Your eyes are for more than scrolling, darling. Use them to see.
HEAR: “I Have Opinions Again!”
Your voice may feel louder in spring. You have ideas. Opinions. Stories. Things to say. But spring is also about listening. What is your body saying? What feels like a YES? And what feels like a very firm “absolutely not, thank you”? Sometimes your body knows before your brain has finished preparing the spreadsheet.
SMELL: “I Would Like to Smell Expensive.”
Fresh flowers. Citrus. Your favourite perfume. Rain. Clean sheets. Scent can instantly shift your mood and transport you somewhere else. So breathe it in. Spring is about possibility, and sometimes you don’t need a five-year plan. You just need to open a window and breathe.
TASTE: “Can We Please Stop Calling Everything a Cheat Meal?”
Spring is not about starving yourself because summer is coming. No thank you.
This is about savouring. Fresh food. Favourite flavours. Slow breakfasts. Something delicious simply because you enjoy it. And nourishment isn’t only food. It’s friendship. Laughter. Creativity. Faith. Connection. And people who don’t drain your soul before you’ve finished your coffee.
TOUCH: “Hello Body, Nice to Meet You Again.”
Stretch. Dance. Walk barefoot. Massage your hands. Feel the water in your shower. Sensuality isn’t automatically sexual. It’s simply being present enough to experience your body. Your body isn’t a machine you drag around while your brain runs the business. It’s where you live. And perhaps it’s time to come home.

How to Reclaim Your Calm Through Faith & Fascia
By Soraya Schroeder
There is an unspoken connection between our emotions and our bodies. Yet we are often taught that praying more, pushing through, or simply “being stronger” will eventually make everything okay. And when it doesn’t, guilt can creep in, making us feel as though we should do more, be more or cope better.
So, we pretend we’re fine.
But emotions that aren’t processed don’t simply disappear. They can show up in the way we breathe, the muscles we clench and the places where we constantly hold tension. Over time, this can leave us feeling as though we’re perpetually bracing for impact, with tense shoulders, neck pain, headaches, a clenched jaw or disrupted sleep.
It doesn’t mean you’re broken. You may simply be holding more than you realise.

When the Body Holds the Story
It may not be “just stress”. Sometimes, it is the accumulation of unprocessed stress, grief and emotions that we haven’t had the space to acknowledge.
This is where fascia comes into the conversation.
Fascia is a thin, web-like connective tissue that surrounds and supports our muscles, bones and organs. It plays an important role in how the body moves and responds to tension. When we experience prolonged stress, our bodies can become accustomed to holding tension, contributing to that familiar feeling of tightness or being constantly “on”.
That knot in your stomach when an old memory resurfaces? It’s a reminder that our emotional experiences can have very real physical sensations.
And the beautiful part is that the body can also learn to soften and release.
Hijama & Nervous System Support
Hijama, or wet cupping, is a traditional Sunnah-based practice that many people incorporate into their broader wellness routines. It should not be viewed simply as a detox or a religious tick-box, but as one possible component of a holistic approach to wellbeing.
When performed safely and by a properly trained practitioner, hijama may be experienced alongside other practices that support relaxation, body awareness and the release of muscular tension.
But true restoration isn’t only about the physical body.
Our nervous system also needs a sense of safety, and for a believer, there can be profound comfort in surrendering what we cannot control to Allah.

Reclaiming Your Calm
1. Set your intention.
Begin by asking Allah to purify your intention and guide you towards what is best for your wellbeing.
2. Surrender in sujood.
Take your time. Make du’a. Give yourself permission to hand over what you have been carrying.
3. Practise mindful dhikr.
Let remembrance become a consistent anchor throughout your day, not simply something we turn to when life becomes difficult.
4. Take gentle action.
This might mean exploring hijama with a qualified practitioner, taking a short walk, spending time outdoors, creating quiet Qur’an time or simply allowing yourself 20 minutes of uninterrupted stillness.
5. Be consistent, not perfect.
Healing rarely happens overnight. Give yourself time, remain open to support and trust that your journey may unfold in ways you don’t expect.
Healing Is Holistic
True healing is layered. It can involve the mind, body and heart.
It asks us to examine the beliefs we carry, allow the body to soften, process what has been left unheard and return the heart to trust.
Healing isn’t about becoming a perfect version of yourself. It’s about becoming more whole.
So let your healing be both spiritual and embodied. Make space for your emotions, care for your body and return to the One who knows you better than you know yourself.
Your wholeness is a mercy. Give yourself permission to embrace it.
Bloom In Your Own Season
By Raeesa Padia
We begin competing in races we were never meant to run.
Sometimes, in our desperation to keep up, we make sacrifices that cost us our peace. We place ourselves under financial strain, emotional pressure, and unrealistic expectations simply to create an image that resembles someone else’s life. We become so focused on blooming like another flower that we forget we were planted to grow in our own unique way.

The truth is that every person has a different journey.
Not all flowers bloom at the same time. Some blossom early, while others take longer to emerge. Yet each one carries its own beauty, purpose, and place in the garden. The same applies to our lives. What may seem like a small achievement to someone else could be a significant milestone in your own story. Progress does not become less valuable simply because it looks different from another person’s success.

The greatest competition is not with the person standing next to us but with the person we were yesterday.

Growth begins when we stop chasing another person’s identity and start discovering our own. It begins when we learn to appreciate the qualities that make us different instead of viewing them as flaws. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a victory. Every lesson learned, every challenge overcome, and every effort made is progress.
Fresh beginnings do not always require a new year, a new job, or a major life change. Sometimes they begin with a new mindset. They begin when we decide to stop measuring ourselves against others and start embracing the person Allah created us to be.
Allah has blessed every individual with unique abilities, gifts, and characteristics. No two people are exactly alike, and that is by divine design. Your talents, experiences, and strengths are part of your purpose.

And that is the most beautiful success of all, becoming the person you were always meant to be.
Elisabetta Franchi
Arrives at Nakheel Mall
Elisabetta Franchi continues to expand its presence in the Middle East with the opening of a new boutique at Nakheel Mall, located on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah.

Spanning 122 square metres, the new space reflects the Maison’s signature approach to feminine sophistication through a refined and minimalist interior. A neutral palette, marble flooring and elegant wall panelling create a bright, contemporary setting, while carefully considered lighting enhances the collections and adds to the sense of quiet luxury.
Warm wooden furnishings introduce texture and balance the clean architectural lines, creating an inviting environment that feels both polished and intimate. At the heart of the boutique, a dedicated contemporary installation showcases the brand’s occasionwear, giving the collection its own distinctive moment within the space.

The opening further strengthens Elisabetta Franchi’s footprint in Dubai, following its existing presence at Galeries Lafayette, Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.
Situated within one of the city’s most recognisable destinations, the new Nakheel Mall boutique brings the Italian fashion house closer to both local and international clientele, offering an elevated shopping experience shaped around the brand’s aesthetic of modern femininity.
As Dubai continues to cement its position as a global fashion and luxury destination, Elisabetta Franchi’s latest opening feels like a natural extension of the city’s ever-evolving style landscape.

PANGAIA’s
Courtside
Capsule
Where Performance
Meets the Everydaye

What happens when the language of sport meets the ease of contemporary dressing? PANGAIA’s Courtside Capsule, the penultimate drop of its SS26 Second Nature collection, offers an answer, blending racquet-sport inspiration, material innovation and effortless silhouettes designed to move seamlessly from court to city.
Built around the idea of fluid transitions, the capsule introduces a refined take on athletic dressing. Clean lines, considered proportions and a restrained palette of Granite Navy, Ice Grey and Dewdrop Blue create a wardrobe that feels equally at home in motion or at leisure.
At the heart of the collection is PANGAIA’s (gaia)BioStretch, a custom-developed performance fabric created using bio-based nylon and elastane. Designed to offer stretch, recovery, durability and breathability, the fabric shifts the material story of traditional activewear by reducing reliance on fossil-derived synthetics.

The womenswear offering includes the Courtside Tank Top, Courtside Dress and Courtside Skort, with the latter incorporating cycle shorts beneath its structured outer layer for ease of movement. Recycled nylon separates extend the collection across both womenswear and menswear, including lightweight jackets, shorts and relaxed track pants.

Beyond its clean aesthetic, the capsule demonstrates how innovation can be woven quietly into everyday clothing. Cooling and odour-control technologies enhance comfort, while recycled and bio-based materials reflect a more considered approach to performance dressing.
For the modest wardrobe, the collection offers versatile foundations for layering, think lightweight jackets over longer silhouettes, relaxed track pants paired with oversized shirts, or the skort styled with an elongated outer layer.
With Courtside, PANGAIA makes a compelling case for sportswear that doesn’t demand a choice between performance, style and conscious design. It is activewear, reimagined for wherever the day takes you.
